Dance event, International Women's Day 2024

‘One world, 1000 women’ is the theme of International Women's Day in the Netherlands. On this day we celebrate the achievements of women and work to empower ourselves even more. And what could be more beautiful than dancing together to celebrate our womanhood?

What are we going to do?

We connect women all over the world in a special international online dance event. By dancing together we strengthen the feminine energy, individually and collectively. When we embody the feminine more, it has a positive effect on ourselves, our relationships and the world. It doesn't matter where you come from, what language you speak or whether you have dance experience or not. Everyone can participate so that together we feel, strengthen and celebrate our diversity and feminine energy.

And if you're thinking, 'uhm, dancing online?' Yes, that's really possible! Bernadet Bos (Netherlands) and her team will lead this session in a professional studio, with live dancers. With inspiring exercises and a wonderful music flow, we invite you to connect with the feminine in you on a deeper level. You can dance where you are comfortable, and are not visible during the online session (unless you would like that, please contact us!). It does not matter how you move, it is about moving freely. We dance based on principles of Open Floor International (see www.openfloor.org). So we challenge you to explore yourself on the dance floor!

Pleasure as a starting point

Since time immemorial, dancing has provided pleasure, energy and connection. We can use that for the positive change the world needs! We don't have to solve problems first and then have fun. We start by having fun and take on the challenges we face from that vibe. By enjoying movement, music and being together, you connect with your inner strength. Treat yourself to this dance event!

Cost

We welcome every woman who wants to dance to be able to join us on March 8. Wherever you live in the world and whatever your financial situation is. So as initiators, we have chosen for you to decide yourself what you want to pay for this special dance event and so help us cover the costs for professional hosting, organization and guidance. What is the value to you and what can you afford?

(If you are able to pay, as a reference: in the Netherlands, the commercial rate of a dance workshop like this is around 30 euros per person.)

Practical information:

Date: Friday March 8, 2024
Time: 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM CET, welcome from 3:10 PM CET.
Payment: after registration you will receive a confirmation email with a payment link with which you can transfer an amount of your own choosing. We would like to receive your contribution before March 9.
